Quran: 5. Surah Al-Azhar / 12. Allah made a covenant with the Children of Israel and We raised up among them twelve chiefs. And Allah said: "I am with you. If you establish worship and give zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and lend to Allah a fair loan, I will surely remit from you your evil deeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. And whoever disbelieves after that, he has gone astray from the right path. 13. And because they broke their covenant, We cursed them and hardened their hearts. They distort the words [of the Scripture] from their places and have forgotten a part of what was sent down to them as a reminder. And you find them treacherous, except for a few. But be lenient with them and forgive [them]. Allah loves the doers of good.
