At least nine Palestinians have been killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli airstrikes and gunfire, health officials in the blockaded territory said.
On Wednesday, medical reports said one person was killed in an Israeli airstrike near a school in Gaza City. Another strike hit a tent housing displaced people in the Khan Yunis al-Mawasi area of the southern Gaza Strip, killing at least four people, including a 10-year-old child.
Later Wednesday, Palestinian health authorities reported that a 6-year-old boy was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. The Israeli army also carried out two other separate attacks in different parts of Gaza City, killing three people and wounding several others, health workers said.
There is an official „ceasefire” in Gaza, but it has not ended Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians, and talks towards a final agreement to end the conflict have stalled. According to the territory’s health ministry, at least 1,084 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the „ceasefire” went into effect in October.
