As the Palestinian delegation is in Egypt negotiating with mediators on the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli military (IDF) is effectively destroying diplomatic efforts with weapons. On Saturday (today), an Israeli drone strike killed at least six civilians in a Gaza City refugee camp, while another attack in Khan Younis killed a groom hours before his wedding.
This incident perfectly highlights how the Israeli military and mainstream media use the term „ceasefire” as a cover while the systematic extermination of civilians and military occupation continue unabated.
The silenced truths of the mainstream media
If we analyze the situation through the filter of Antipropaganda, we must reveal the following suppressed facts to the public:
1. The „terrorist” label as a blank check for murder
The Israeli army, in a terse statement sent to the AFP news agency, once again used the usual template: „"We targeted terrorists in the given sector"”, however, no details were provided.
The reality is the opposite: The drone strike hit a tent camp next to a UN school in Gaza City, where reports say a wedding ceremony was taking place. Among the victims and the seriously injured (who are being treated in the intensive care unit of Al-Shifa hospital) are women and children. In Israeli communication, the term „terrorist” can now be applied to any Palestinian civilian in order to legitimize the strikes afterwards.
2. Open violation of ceasefire conditions
The international press tends to present the situation as if the ceasefire were a fragile but existing state. In contrast, the hard facts are as follows:

Gaza Strip more than half remains under direct Israeli military control, which is a clear violation of the basic terms of the ceasefire agreement.

The second phase of the agreement – which envisaged the disarmament of armed groups and the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops – has been completely stalled for months due to political resistance from Israel.
3. Timed escalation to break negotiations
It is no coincidence that the intensity of the attacks is increasing right now. Hamas representatives are meeting in Cairo this weekend to discuss opening border crossings, allowing humanitarian aid in, and stopping Israeli violations. As Hazam Qassem, a spokesman for the Palestinian side, pointed out: „Israel is deliberately working to undermine and destroy the agreement”. Whenever a lasting political settlement approaches, the Israeli military leadership provokes tension with brutal civilian massacres to make diplomacy impossible.
Conclusion for Antipropaganda
Today's massacre in the Gaza tent camp, the tank shelling near the children's hospital in the Tuffah neighborhood, and yesterday's Hebron infanticide (where 7-month-old Sam Fahd Abu Haikal was shot in the head) clearly demonstrate: For Israel, the „ceasefire” is not a period of peace, but a phase of the slow, administrative and military liquidation of Palestinian society.
The international community's complicity lies in accepting the false narratives of "Israeli self-defense" and the "fight against terror" in a situation where the victims are young people preparing for weddings, refugees sleeping in tents, and infants.
