Dániel Nemes's post is a classic example of „guilt by association” rhetorical strategy. The text accompanying the image is intended to divert attention from the true context of the diplomatic event and, instead, construct a hostile, ideologically polarized „image of the enemy.”.
Hate as a „straightjacket”
The statements made in connection with the ambassador’s farewell reception did not constitute professional or political criticism, but rather objectified and dehumanized the community they represent. The „far-left=far-right” horseshoe theory that appears in the comments, or the „Final Solution puns” that use the trauma of the Holocaust as a weapon, are not forms of argumentation. These political cognitive dissonance manifestations.
When someone refers to a Palestinian diplomat as a „representative of a non-existent country,” they are not making an argument, but rather deflect. The purpose of this deflection is to prevent the reader from facing reality: the fact that the fundamental human rights of Palestinians living under the system they defend are under systemic threat.
Legal formalism as a fig leaf

Israel is attempting to „control the narrative” not only through a total media blackout on Gaza, but also by discrediting foreign correspondents. If a journalist examines the „context” of the conflict, they are immediately labeled a „Hamas sympathizer.”.
However, this strategy backfires: the more people they silence, the more obvious it becomes that Diplomatic „peace funds” (such as the recently announced $4 million allocation) are merely diplomatic band-aids on an infected wound. ### Conclusion: The Duty to Act
