British consumers who spend money on three popular online sweepstakes in the hope of winning cars and cash, or who shop at a popular London market, are funneling their money to an Israeli billionaire who funds the Israeli military, a report by Novara Media reveals.

Teddy Sagi, owner of London tourist attraction Camden Market, is the majority shareholder (69.5 percent) of Winvia Entertainment Group, a British lottery operator that owns websites such as Rev Comps, Best of the Best (BOTB), and Click Competitions.

Novara reports that hundreds of thousands of Britons pay to enter these sites in the hope of winning luxury cars, homes, watches, technology and other prizes. The BOTB says it has had more than half a million winners and has paid out more than £147m in prizes. Forbes estimates Sagi's fortune at around $7.1bn.

In addition to Camden Market and the lottery sites, Sagi owns gambling software company Playtech, British-Israeli company Kape Technologies, and a range of VPN providers including ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, and ZenMate.

Sagi has made several donations to the Israeli military, including since the Gaza genocide began in October 2023. According to Novara, in November 2023, when Israel had already killed more than 15,000 people in Gaza, Sagi donated 1 million shekels ($340,000) to provide taxi rides for Israeli troops from the front lines to their homes during their leave.

Sagi previously donated more than $3 million to an Israeli Defense Ministry program that provides scholarships to retired soldiers, and in 2019, he offered jobs to Israeli soldiers at his companies at a gala.

The Israeli billionaire's name also appeared in the 2021 Pandora documents, which linked him to at least 60 companies registered in tax havens. In 1996, Sagi spent five months in an Israeli prison after being convicted of fraud and bribery. Winvia Entertainment was contacted by Novara Media for comment.

A UN commission of inquiry report released this week found that Israel committed genocide by deliberately targeting Palestinian children in Gaza. Srinivasan Muralidhar, the commission's chairman, told reporters at a press conference that Israeli forces have killed more than 20,000 children and injured another 44,000 since October 7, 2023.

„Even after the ceasefire in October 2025, the killing and serious injury of children continues, while Israel continues to disregard the ceasefire and the protections Palestinian children are entitled to under international law,” he stated.

In total, Israeli forces have killed more than 73,000 people and wounded more than 170,000 since the start of the genocide.
