Under the proposal, submitted by Likud party leader Mose Passal, Israel would freeze an amount each year equal to the funds transferred to Gaza by the Palestinian Authority the previous year.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">A <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"2\">Haaretz<\/i> According to the bill, the frozen money would be used to pay compensation to individuals who were affected by \u201eterrorist acts\u201d originating from Gaza.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">The bill was supported by 12 members of the 120-member Knesset present, with no votes against.
